We love food - and the meal as a meeting place. At Vårdnäs it is easy to eat both healthy and fantastically good food - every day. We are located in the middle of Östergötland, in a food landscape rich in fine ingredients, and here it feels natural that our food tradition is rooted in classic Swedish cuisine, but we also draw inspiration from all over the world and place great emphasis on the development of green cuisine.
Our restaurant
Our restaurant is nice located with a view of lake Stora Rängen. In the summertime it is also possible to use the terrace outdoors.
Our restaurant has 100 seats indoor and 60-70 seats outdoor.
Meals we serve
Breakfast
Breakfast is served as a buffé in our restaurant.
Monday to Friday 07.00-08.30
Weekends and holidays 08.00-10.00
Breakfast is included in our hotel rooms.
Lunch
We serve a lunch buffé Monday to Friday between 11.45-13.00.

Dinner
The offer of dinner in the evening depends on the number of guests and activities at the hotel that particular day. Some evenings the restaurant is closed and then a cold dish is offered.

It is possible to buy food packages to bring on your hiking tour och kayak trip or other outdoor adventure. Most days of the week we can arrange food packages, but not all days.

In the summer (July-August), Vårdnäs offers barbecue evenings on the terrace at the restaurant with musical entertainment.

At Vårdnäs there is a cozy grill house you can rent for smaller or bigger groups. Our kitchen present you eatables that you barbecue on the grill.
